Power and Performance |
Armada's strength is derived from a 5.6-liter V-8 that produces 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft. of torque with available Flexible Fuel Vehicle technology (FFV) in select markets, allowing drivers to use traditional gasoline or an alternative fuel such as an E85, a mix containing 85 percent renewable ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. |
Body and Styling |
The 2008 Nissan Armada is available in two trim levels namely SE and LE. The base trim, SE, comes with seating for eight, 18-inch alloy wheels, a power driver seat, dual-zone climate control, an eight-speaker sound system with a CD changer, and more. The LE sports 20-inch alloy wheels, keyless starting, a power liftgate, a rearview monitor, leather upholstery, heated front seats, second-row captain's chairs, and an upgraded 265-watt, 10-speaker Bose sound system with satellite radio, and much more.
Inside, the 2008 Armada offers an available power folding 60/40 third-row seat (LE only), new interior colors and fabrics, new gated shifter, new wood grain accents (LE only), optional heated steering wheel (LE only), a locking glove compartment, and revised steering wheel and combination meter illumination.

Safety Features |
Safety features standard on all Armada models include anti-lock disc brakes, rear parking sensors, stability control, side curtain airbags, and front-seat active head restraints,. Front-seat side airbags are optional on the SE and standard on the LE. The 2008 Nissan Armada earned four stars for driver protection and five stars for passenger protection in NHTSA frontal-impact crash tests. |
